Novo Nordisk contacted us looking for fun and engaging virtual teambuilding workshop.

They were searching for new ways to bring their staff together after working remotely for so long.

WHILE WORKING REMOTELY

FIXING ONLINE COMMUNICATION

When we were approached by Novo Nordisk to design a Virtual Teambuilding Training, they told us that they felt they had been experiencing some lag in communication since working remotely, and missing the benefits of day-to-day interactions they usually had when working physically together.

They asked us to design a workshop for their team of Doctors and professionals who work with Novo Nordisk products in the research stage with clinical trials on test groups before approving products to the market. Their goal was to reconnect their team online, and build stronger relationships between their staff, as well as gain general knowledge on how we act when in online meetings.

CONNECTING VIRTUALLY

INSPIRATION THROUGH A SCREEN

After our initial consultation, we developed a 2-hour virtual training session using IMPROV Communication’s 5 Principles of Improv. They asked for the session to be slightly challenging, and to have people actively participating throughout.

We designed the training to incorporate Online Ice Breakers that get the team inspired to take part. The workshop included exercises that brought the problems of virtual communication to the forefront, and introduced new tools to help teams understand these issues, and make adjustments so they can communicate more effectively when working remotely.

Our facilitators then led the group through debriefing sessions where they discussed the teams’ ideas for how to incorporate these tools in their day-to-day working lives.

A WHOLE NEW PARTNERSHIP

The training was so successful, that Novo Nordisk has asked IMPROV Communication to become their Official Global Supplier of Training.

 The virtual training went smoothly. The event organizer mentioned being  amazed and quite surprised at how fast the 2 hours went by – without feeling tired. 

In preparation for the training session, we supplied the entire team with our Virtual Communications Training eBook. Now that the training has been complete, the entire team has been given access to our entire library of resources to inspire continued growth.
